The service is so poor

Work with Local Authorities / organisations to help create more bus

Question 6
– what do you think about proposals to devolve bus
registration powers to Wales? How should these be used?
|
Fine. So long as the money/power is distributed fairly
throughout Wales / prioritised. It seems all the major
cities only get help these days.
|
Question 7
– please tell us whether you think further powers to regulate
the bus industry in Wales are required and why?
|
Westminster is run by the conservatives and therefore it seems only
profitable areas benefit from their powers. This would /
should change if transport powers were localised as the
public would find it easier to contact the politicians involved /
the politicians would be more accountable for their actions.
Local politicians also have a better understanding of what is
needed in their community.
